I went to the clinic based on the reviews. I knew that there are so many issues to be addressed since the dental visit for me was a nightmare for most. I was trying to minimize the visits to the least. When I went to San Ramon Dental and from the first appointment, I knew that Dr. Hakim was different from most of dentists that I dealt with. He does not only give the patient a detailed medical explanation along with medical options but he shares his personal experience and thoughts as well. My nerve system is really sensitive, usually gives me tough times from during and after root canal or such procedures. I felt comfortable with the treatment plan received. I was told in advance what to expect. Other than the medical service you get super friendly notifications before your appointment. The whole staff care about providing an amazing experience to the patient…Any patient, which is just great. This is one of the very few dental care facilities that you feel your role is to be treated and follow the doctor instructions. I received my veneers from Dr. Hakim and he did an excellent job. To prep for this, I needed to get braces for a short time to ensure the success of my veneers. He stuck with me throughout the process and when it was time for the procedure to get my veneers, I was completely thrilled with the results. I continue to go there for my routine visits. The team is always inviting and I enjoy my time there. They are very cordial. They do great work and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I did a dental implant and was nervous mostly because of past experience of friends with implants. Dr Patel was. Amazing. I am still amazed how straight he installed my implant in very short time without much inconvenience during or after the procedure. He cares for patients and prepares and studies the need for work on teeth before the appointment. After he explains what he did in detail.

Their name suits them well since I’ve had an unpleasant experience elsewhere but moving to this office has been the best decision I’ve made. Dr Hakim is gentle, knowledgeable and amazing at his work. The staff in the office is very professional and so friendly.

Wow! Everyone at the office was so welcoming and friendly. I am usually in pain and discomfort throughout cleanings because of how sensitive my gums are but this was the most gentle and compassionate dental treatment I’ve ever experienced. The hygienist, Rajdeep Kaur, continued to check in on me and gave me space (physically and emotionally) to do jumping jacks to complete my stress response cycle once the scraping part was done. 💜
Dr. Divian Patel is very knowledgeable, encouraging and professional. I am thrilled to have security in where my husband and I will be going for any and all dental work!

Dr. Hakim is an amazing dentist! My daughter saw multiple dentists over the last 2 years for pain on one side of her mouth. She’s been told it was everything from a sinus infection to wisdom teeth, but teeth in that area were otherwise fine. Dr. Hakim asked more questions and conducted a more thorough exam than other dentists, revealing an undiagnosed cavity just below the gum line that led to a now dead tooth/nerve. We finally have an answer and plan forward. I highly recommend Dr. Hakim.

I had two impacted wisdom teeth surgically and I was a little nervous about coming in to get my wisdom teeth out. Dr. Patel is an expert in the extraction of wisdom teeth, and he will ensure that you receive the best, safest care possible. The procedure went smoothly and recovery time was unproblematic. The procedure was clearly explained, as well as the financial obligations. All of the equipment used is very modern and up to date.
