Full Mouth Reconstruction
Achieve your dream smile with our cosmetic full mouth reconstruction. This bespoke service combines different treatments to create the smile that you desire.
You’ll work closely with your dentist to determine your desired results, and you’ll begin the process with a smile design consultation and a presentation of treatment options. That way, you know exactly what you’re getting, and how it will be achieved. After that, you’ll have input every step of the way, selecting the precise desired shade and shape of your teeth, so you’re sure to end up with the smile you’ve always wanted.
What does a Cosmetic Full Mouth Reconstruction involve?
If cosmetic reconstruction is right for you, we will administer a complete oral exam, checking for any dental health issues, which would have to be dealt with first. These can include problems like cavities, periodontal disease, or basic oral hygiene issues. During that exam, we will take a mold of your mouth, which is then sent to the lab.
Your next appointment will be your smile design consultation. During that appointment, you’ll look at mock-ups of potential results, and select for yourself which smile is right for you. The mold taken at your previous appointment is used by the lab to manufacture mock-ups that can be worn over your current teeth during your smile consultation, giving you a precise sense of what each new possible smile might look like.
Once you’ve selected your desired results, we will begin addressing any oral health issues. Following that, if you’ve opted for orthodontic adjustments, you’ll be fitted with Invisalign, or possibly brackets. If there are any gum issues, we can adjust the height of your gums in the office. For more involved gum conditions, some patients might be referred to a periodontist.
Once your teeth are in arranged as desired, and the gums are where you want them to be, patients will undergo what is call the restorative processes. Those who want whiter teeth will receive whitening treatments until they’ve reached their desired results. Some patients will also consider teeth shaping at this stage.
Typically the final stage will involve installing any necessary crowns, veneers, or fillings. These are determined on a case by case basis, and with the patient’s desired outcome in mind.
Each step in the process is done with your consultation, and can be adjusted based on the look and feel you’re hoping to achieve. You’ll have input with us and the lab, and the goal is never to rush you or push you toward anything you don’t want. Our only goals are your goals, and we will work with you every step of the way to help you achieve your perfect smile.
